Course History:
This course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr and offers panoramic views of the surrounding breathtaking scenery. You’ll be able to spot Mount Diablo and numerous other landmarks as you complete your round.
The Par 63 course is challenging but still suitable for all players, regardless of their skill levels. The beautiful area of Dublin gets its name from Dublin, Ireland and the rolling green hills at this course may just trick you into thinking you’ve traveled to Ireland.
What You Need to Know:
You can make a reservation for a tee time at the course up to 30 days in advance. They do not currently allow online reservations. If you do not give appropriate notice of a cancellation, the club will be forced to automatically deduct your green fee. Rental clubs are available and start at $30 a set for 18 holes, or $20 for 9 holes.
A restaurant and bar are available on site. Lunch is served from 10:30 am until 3pm. The full service bar is open from 10:30am until dusk. If you have a large group that will be visiting, it is a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation.

Course History:
This course was designed 30 years ago by John Harbottle III. Red tail hawks are quite common in the area and can be seen perching in the trees as you play. The area is incredibly peaceful and located just a short drive from Silicon Valley. It gets its name from the nearby mines that produced red ore during the 1800’s.
What You Need to Know:
Tee times can be booked in advance by calling the club or by reserving it online. Please note that reservations are only available up to 14 days in advance. An automated reservation system is also available 24 hours a day.
The course does not have a dress code and is one of the few that will actually allow you to wear jeans and shorts. Even non-collared and non-sleeved shirts are allowed, as long as the apparel is appropriate. They do however prohibit the use of metal spikes on the course. Please changes yours out to soft spikes before coming.
A practice facility is available and the putting green opens at 6:30am. It only closes once it gets dark. The driving range usually opens at 9am, but there may be some variation. Please call ahead to check for availability. Pricing starts at $4 for 40 balls and goes up to $8 for 110 balls.
The pro shop stocks all the latest name brand golf apparel and you can also purchase clubs. Gift certificates and numerous gift items are also available at the shop.

Course History:
This is a relatively new course that premiered in 2005. It was highly anticipated and proved to be well worth the wait. It has been ranked in the top 10 of all California golf courses, according to Golf Week Magazine. The course gets its name from the Callippe Silverspot Butterfly, which is now unfortunately on the endangered species list.
The course is located near Mount Diablo and was designed by Brian Costello. The 7,400 sq foot clubhouse is extremely luxurious and frequented often by players.
What You Need to Know:
Tee times can be registered online, or by calling the clubhouse ahead of time after 8am. Visitors and regulars can reserve their time up to two weeks in advance.
The course can be a bit difficult, particularly when you get to Hole 11, but it is still a course that is suited for players of all skill levels. The 30 stall practice facility is always open to help you perfect your swing and prices are very reasonable.
The Pro Shop stocks all of the latest gear and offers designer apparel as well as the course’s own brand of apparel. The staff is incredibly helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you find what you need.
Twilight play is also offered at this course on the following schedule: November - February starting at noon, March 1 -8 at 1:00, March 9 - April at 2:00, May - September at 3:00 and October at 2:00.

Course History:
The Presidio is one of the oldest and most celebrated courses in California. It survived the great quake of 1906 and was recently renovated. The illustrious Arnold Palmer manages this course and it’s located just ten minutes from downtown San Francisco.
You can register your tee time online from up to thirty days in advance. In addition, you can also call ahead to the club. If you do need to cancel, you must give the course at least 24 hours notice. There is a non-refundable fee if you register online, per golfer. The rate varies as to the day of the week that you wish your tee-time to be on.
The club house was just finished a few years ago and features some of the most elegant accoutrements you would expect to find in a club house. It is open for lunch, brunch, private celebrations and receptions. Cocktails are served along with a limited menu until dusk. The food has been dubbed “American comfort with a California flair,” and is incredibly delicious. The full bar offers more than 36 types of whiskey, thirteen different kinds of beer and a wine list from around the world.
The pro shop features all the best golf brands and merchandise for every type of golfer. Rental clubs are available for $45 for an 18 hole round or $25 for nine holes. If you join their special e-club, you can get additional savings on merchandise as well as advance notice on upcoming events.
The practice center is truly remarkable with a very large driving range and a special six hole practice putting green. A chipping green is also available. The practice center is open 7 days a week and is staffed with PGA instructors and professionals if you need a little assistance on your swing. They do recommend bringing a light jacket if the day is a little chilly or if you will be practicing in the evening.
Prepaid range cards are available and make it easy to get practice in whenever you can. However, regular rates are as follows: $7 for 35 balls, $10 for 70 balls and $12 for 100 balls. Check out their special “Demo Days” to try all of the latest new equipment from the best manufacturers.
Several professional teachers are on staff at the Presidio and you can schedule lessons no matter what your skill level may be. Clinics are available for all ages, and corporate clinics are also offered.
Rates start at $50 for residents or $96 for non-residents during the week. Weekend rates are available and are similar in pricing. Discounts are offered for different groups of members throughout the week, please see their website for their current pricing schedule and more information.
Golfers are required to wear collared shirts and trousers or shorts are encouraged. Denim is discouraged, and it is recommended that you bring soft rubber spikes instead of metal.

Course History:
This course has received a four star rating by professionals and is one of the most beautiful courses in the Bay Area. Two courses are actually available to cater to players of all levels. Walkers are welcome, except during the twilight hours on Saturday and Sunday.
The Cypress Course is the easiest course is just over 6,100 yards long. It is considered to be one of the more tranquil courses in the area and is perfect if you just want to relax and enjoy a nice game of golf. The Palms Course is a little more challenging and features nearly 6,400 yards of playable space. They recommend careful club choices to make the most out of this course.
The Players Club offers significant discounts and is available in several levels. You can sign up for the Players Club on their website and learn more about the special options available for members. We’ll include pricing information on green fees below for this club.
The Pro Shop offers select merchandise from all the best golfing brands. Club fitting is offered at $75 for a full set, or $50 for woods, irons or wedges. If you purchase clubs on that day, the fitting cost is complimentary. The club estimates that nearly 95% of all players are using inappropriate clubs, so this may be a great option, especially if you are new to the game or having difficulty with your game.
Lessons are also offered at the club from their staff professionals. Pricing starts at $45 for one lesson. Group rates are also available and special discounts are offered for junior players. The club also features several junior programs to help get kids excited about golf. They have two summer camps that start at just $150, and they run at several different times throughout the summer.
The club now offers the ability to reserve your tee time online for a nominal fee. Registrations are available for up to 30 days and special discounts and extended times are available to Players Club members. You can also call the club to reserve your tee time.
Numerous events are scheduled at the club throughout the year and are available for all ages. Whether you like special tournaments or you just want to have a little fun, there is something for everyone at either course.

Course History:
Shadow Lakes is one of two clubs offered in Brentwood. The Deer Ridge Country Club is also attached and offers challenging play as well. Shadow Lakes is located in an incredibly scenic area with Mount Diablo overseeing the players. It was designed by Gary Roger Baird in a traditional style.
The course does have a dress code. No denim or cutoffs are allowed and men must wear collared shirts. Women must wear appropriate golf attire, and golf shirts are recommended.
The practice range offers two different decks of bent grass tees and is open from 10am to 6pm every day. Several new matted tees have been added if you prefer to practice on a different surface. The club does not shut down the practice area in the rain, so you can get experience playing in all kinds of weather.
The Pro Shop offers all the latest apparel and even footwear. They also stock the best brands of clubs and equipment. Lessons are offered at either course, and start at $80 for one person. Special rates are available for junior players.
Both courses offer a Stay and Play package combined with the nearby Comfort Inn. You get to golf with a cart, enjoy unlimited use of their practice facilities, hotel accommodations and breakfast at the club. Rates start at just $125 per person.
Dual course memberships are available if you prefer to get more for your money. Prices start at $2800 for one individual or $3900 for a family and offers use of both courses for the period of one year. Cart fees are included in this membership. Guests can play free for up to 2 weekdays every month and it also includes a NCGA annual membership and handicapping service.
You can also book tee times for either course online, or by calling ahead to the clubs. Numerous online specials are offered, so keep checking back to their website for even more savings. Events are held at both courses throughout the year.
Dining is available at either course. The Baird’s Crossing and Grille can be found at Shadow Lakes. It features a breakfast and lunch menu and is also available for catering. The full service bar is open for drink and snacks until sunset, 7 days a week. Please call ahead to make sure events haven’t changed their hours.
The Deer Ridge Grill is also open for breakfast and lunch and offers patio dining. Once again, the full service bar is open until sunset, and happy hour is observed at Baird’s from 4 pm to 6pm every day.

History of the Course:
This was the first Fred Couples signature golf course in California. It is a public course that strives to offer private course amenities to all of its visitors. There are numerous features and the prices are some of the most reasonable in California. The course is well suited to all levels of players, and even advanced players will be able to get a challenge out of it.
A special Club Boom Boom was designed for young golfers and provides them with specialized clinics, lessons, and many exclusive benefits. The one time entrance fee of $50 pays for itself quite quickly. Once a child is enrolled, one adult may play with them for a discounted fee over the usual rates.
Lessons are available from the pros on staff. They start at $45 per lesson, and special package deals are available. Semi private lessons are also available and have the same package deals as well. The course also offers special rates for corporate groups and more.
Breakfast and lunch are served at the club which is renowned for its world class chef and wonderful cuisine. Special events can book the restaurant. The dining room is absolutely breathtaking in design and you’ll feel right at home next to the roaring fire.
An annual pass program has been instituted for players who expect to be visiting the club frequently. Resident’s fees start at $200 per month, while non-residents can expect to pay only $225 a month for unlimited play. This program includes a free cart whenever you play, 10% off all merchandise in the pro shop, 10% off food at the restaurant and reduced guests fees.
A driving range is also available and features a 10,000 sq foot putting green, special instruction area and a full length driving range. Rates start at $5 for 35 balls and go up to $10 for 110 balls. Range carts are available and the range is open during regular business hours with the rest of the course.

What You Need to Know:
There is a dress code at this course. Metal spikes are not allowed. If you do show up in them, the staff will help you replace them with soft spikes. Shorts are allowed, but must not be cutoffs. No denim is allowed on the course. No tank tops or tee shirts are allowed, and men and women must both wear collared shirts with sleeves. No suggestive clothing will be allowed on the course.
Tee times may be affected by tournaments. This is a very busy course. It is necessary to book your times either online or by phone. We’ve included a brief tournament schedule for you below since it can be difficult to gauge when the course will be available.
A professional practice facility is available on the course, as well as a driving range. The on-site pros also offers lessons privately or to groups, but these must be scheduled in advance. Caddies can also be hired, and are available by phoning the pro-shop ahead of time.
The course is very hilly, but walking it is fairly easy and encouraged. Carts are available for an additional fee. You can learn more about the course and take a virtual tour right at their website.

Course History:
The course was designed by Brian Costello of the JMP Golf Design Group. It is a par 68 that stretches over 5,300 yards. The course was built around the natural habit near Coyote Creek and has been praised as being a state of the art facility that managed to maintain the quality of the nature around it while allowing players to enjoy a challenging round.
There are specific routes of play for each hole that will make it easier for players of all skill levels to enjoy their game. There are nine par threes, four par fours and five par five holes.
What You Need to Know
Los Lagos has their own restaurant, making it the perfect destination for a business meeting or for friends and family to get together. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served and offer a variety of different cuisines.
The practice facility is a favorite of many regulars and features the Impractis Digital Swing Recorder. The driving range features two tiers and is lighted for use all day long. It is well suited for those who need to work on their driving or on their short game.
The Pro Shop is fully stocked with all major brand names and offers both apparel and equipment. You can buy clubs there or book a lesson with their resident golf pro.
The club is home to many different events, including tournaments and special fund raisers. You can pay for your green fees online, purchase lesson packages or even get a special golf club fitting scheduled. Numerous internet specials are available to members, and you can also register to get a free round of golf.

Course History:
The course was designed by Ron Fream and David Dale and offers more than 7,000 yards of playable space. There are six sets of tees with 92 bunkers, 3 lakes and 7 creeks interspersed throughout the eighteen hole course. Golf for Women Magazine named this course in their Top 50 Women Friendly Courses and it has also received the distinction of being named one of the top 10 courses in the Silicon Valley area.
The course has been featured as a qualifying course for numerous PGA events as well as the USGA Women’s Open, the PGA Champions Tour Siebel Classic and other NCGA events. The greens are multi-tiered and the rolling fairways offer enough of a challenge without being too difficult for novice players.
What You Need to Know Before Going:
Dress Code: There is a dress code at the course, for members and guests. Men must wear a collared shirt, and woman are required to wear a collared shirt with sleeves. No tank tops are allowed. Denim is also not allowed, nor are cut-offs. Metal spikes are also prohibited.
Reservations: Reservations are available up to thirty days in advance and the course does accept major credit cards. However, single player reservations are not available at this time. It is a good idea to check in 20 minutes before your scheduled tee time.
Rain Policy: In the event that you have scheduled a reservation and it ends up raining on that day, you will be able to cancel your tee-time within 24 hours, without a penalty. However, if you are on the course and it begins to rain, please keep in mind that they do not offer refunds.
Carts Policy: Carts are allowed on this course. There is a per person charge of $18 per rider. Carts must be within 90 degrees of the ball, depending on the angle and location of the lie. On weekends, all players must have a cart in order to speed up play. However, they are optional every other day of the week.
