Course History:
This course, located about 1 hour from San Francisco has much to offer golfers of all skill levels. The fairways on this Par 72 course are extremely wide and lined with gorgeous trees. It currently serves more than 70,000 rounds each year and is staffed with PGA pros.
What You Need to Know:
The club has numerous rules and regulations, which we’ll get to in just a second. It does feature a full service pro shop and a practice area. Lessons are available at reasonable rates from the pros on staff and numerous tournaments are held each year. Please note that tee times can only be reserved up to 7 days in advance. You can reserve your time by calling the club house and they also offer an online tee time reserve feature.
The club features a restaurant with incredible views and terrific food. They are open daily from 10am until closing time for the course.
The club’s policies are as follows according to management:
“We offer complete food & beverage service so we ask that no coolers, ice chests or outside food & beverage be brought on property.
The cart fee is per golfer for a shared cart. Single cart renters will be matched on the first tee when appropriate.
For safety concerns we only allow non-golfers (including caddies) on the course if they are in a golf cart.
To keep our cart fleet in excellent condition and keep our customers safe we only rent carts to persons 18 years and older with a valid driver’s license.
So that groups can maintain a proper pace of play, we ask that each golfer have their own set of clubs.
To keep the cost of providing range balls we ask that baskets and range ball not be removed from the driving range and practice area.
We welcome fivesomes that are able to complete their rounds in four and a half hours or less. Any group having difficulty maintaining proper pace may be asked to advance to the proper position or allow faster groups to play through.
To provide an enjoyable experience to the majority of our customers we ask that Men wear shirts with sleeves and ladies wear golf appropriate attire.
