Course History:
There are two courses at Coyote Creek, the Valley Course and the Tournament Course. They are both Jack Nicklaus signature courses and are considered two of the most beautiful places to play golf in San Jose. Both offer full services.
What You Need to Know:
There is a dress code at the course. Men should wear collared shirts with sleeves, and women should follow the same rules. Soft spikes are also recommended. If you have any questions on attire, please call the club house for more information.
The Tournament Course is over 7,000 yards in length and features incredibly challenging holes set in a very scenic location. The Valley Course is a Par 72 that is also longer than 7,000 yards but it is a bit easier to play.
Instructions are available at either course, and numerous PGA professionals are on staff to help you improve your game. On site video analysis is offered as well as private sessions or group sessions. You can also book a half day program, or enjoy the full day school if you really want an intensive learning experience. Junior lessons are also offered as well special corporate retreats.
There are numerous practice areas including two putting greens, a chipping green with a bunker and a driving range. The club also features a real 200 yard par 3 practice hole.
You can book your tee time right from their website, or you can call ahead to make your reservations. There may be additional fees for booking your tee time online and you can make a reservation up to thirty days in advance.
These two courses offer an incredible opportunity to play on holes designed by the venerable Jack Nicklaus, right alongside some of the game’s best pro’s. No matter what your skill level may be, these course offer the right amount of challenge to help you become a better player, all the while enjoying your time out in the sun with incredible scenery and a layout that cannot be beaten.
